Hi there! I am here today to share my teacher appreciation free printable…. HOORAY! If you have seen my teacher printables before ( last year’s teacher appreciation here on Skip to My Lou and Teacher Valentine on Skip To My Lou) then you know I love giving gift cards.

My mom was a kindergarten teacher for over 30 years and I assure you that her collection of apple-shaped picture frames can rival all of my twine, ribbon, and washi tape…combined. That is a lot of apple frames, folks! In my quest to break the apple picture frame trend for teachers today, I have fallen for the gift card.

You can still choose different cards to suit the personalities and likes of different teachers, but they can truly get what they really want or need! Of course, if you want to join me in giving git cards, you will need super cute free printables to put those cards on! All of the sudden, that gift card goes from boring to cute and personal!!

This year, I decided to create a printable that would be perfect for those art and craft store gift cards.  I used a quote that I just adore from Albert Einstein in the post “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”

Isn’t that the truth? Teachers are artists, helping to paint our future with the little lives they teach every day! To create this card, I started with 8.5″x11″ white cardstock. Once I printed out my 5″x7″ cards (2 on a page), I cut them out and added a little Kraft envelope using double-sided tape. To finish our gift, I wrapped the card and mini envelope with baker’s twine and paired it with a colored envelope! Add your gift card and you are done!
