Yes, these edible taco salad bowls can easily be made by pressing tortillas into an ovenproof bowl, but I found these super cool Tortilla Bowl Bakers. They work great and make such an impressive bowl.
All you do lightly spray the shell pans with non-stick spray. Press a large burrito size flour tortilla into the Tortilla Baker, making sure the tortilla follows the shape of the pan.
Bake at 375 degress for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Let shells slightly cool, then remove from pan. Let shell completely cool before filling.
Fill the bowls with your favorite taco salad ingredients. We use seasoned meat, lettuce, corn, tomatoes and lettuce (rice and black beans are also nice). Mix sour cream and salsa together for a yummy southwest salad dressing.
