It is super easy to make a crochet flower garland with my little crochet flowers from last week. Michaels challenged me to create everyday as part of the Cre8time initiative, and this is what I have been working on.

Normally I do create something everyday. This little craft blog totally keeps me crafting and fuels my creative needs! This past couple weeks I have been focusing on crochet. It is the perfect ongoing project. I can start and stop and it is easy to take it with me. I find it soothing to crochet and love the feel of accomplishment when my project is complete.

Crochet Flower Pattern

How to make a crochet flower garland

Using crochet hook  J (Well that is what I used)

First crochet a bunch of flowers. This is how I joined the flowers together to make a garland. Chain about 24 (this allows for hanging) single crochet in second chain from hook, double crochet in next stitch, triple crochet in next stitch, double crochet in next stitch, single crochet in next stitch (leaf made). Chain two, single crochet in back of petal at top, chain until next petal (it usually takes me three or four stitches), single crochet in back of petal. Chain 7,  single crochet in second chain from hook, double crochet in next stitch, triple crochet in next stitch, double crochet in next stitch, single crochet in next stitch.  Continue until all flowers have been joined.

Now as you can see from how the pattern is written, I am not a pattern writer! So I am not sure how to explain this but really the leaves will be the back side unless you crochet backwards. Okay if someone can help — please leave tips in the comments.

  3. Once you’ve done this, you can go Music, Pictures, or Video areas of your Xbox 360, which will bring up a menu allowing you to select your PC. Waste money and make the mango juice smoothie or perhaps a banana divide. There are currently no games available specifically developed for preschoolers or toddlers in the Xbox format.

  4. I will immediately clutch your rss feed as I can not in finding your e-mail subscription hyperlink or newsletter service.
Do you’ve any? Please let me realize in order that I may subscribe. Thanks.

  5. I usually do not comment, however after reading through a bunch of responses
on Crochet Flower Garland | Skip To My Lou. I actually do have some
questions for you if you tend not to mind. Could it be only me
or does it give the impression like a few of these
remarks come across as if they are left by brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are writing on other social sites, I’d like to keep up with anything new you have to post. Could you make a list of every one of all your public pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

  6. Seems like garlands are getting very popular. I’m glad to find your instructions because when attaching my flowers in my pattern they ‘turned’ slightly. It’s like missing an o ring in jewelry. Thank you, your ideas are great.

  7. Will be doing this one as soon as I get a chance. I made the Valentine’s Day one and the Shamrock one – – this would be cute to have up all of spring! Thanks!

  8. Flowers are one of my favorite things to crochet, definitely want to try this garland.

  9. This is just adorable! I’ve been crocheting flowers lately… I’ll definitely try this garland! Thank you 🙂

  10. You would want to say something like, “Ch2, holding the flower with the WRONG side facing you, sc in top of center stitch of any petal on flower …” It made sense to me, though 🙂
