I love to make a bow! Making a ribbon bow really is simple! With just a few steps you will be able to create beautiful bows for all your packages. If you like gift wrapping as much as I do you will want to check out the new line of wrapping supplies at Staples. The stuff is amazing! The wrapping paper is thick, the gift tags are embellished and everything is beautifully designed.
Working from the spool of ribbon make a loop at the end. Bring the ribbon around and make another loop on the other side, pinching in the middle. Continue making loops from side to side until the bow is the size and fullness you like. I do about six loops. Wrap a twist tie around the middle and secure in the back. Cut the bow from the spool of ribbon.
Tie ribbon around the package leaving a tail to attach the ribbon.
Trim the twist tie on the back of the bow.
Place bow on package and tightly tie bow to the package. Finish off by loosely making a knot on the top of the bow.
Martha has not only created a gorgeous line for us to wrap up our holiday with, she has created a beautiful line of organizational items. Her planner is amazing. I love that there is plenty of space to write and I can view the whole month at a time!
