There is so much you can do with a Silhouette and now there is a new cutter on the block, the Silhouette Portrait.  Good things do come in small packages! The Portrait is perfect if you are cutting items 8 inches or less. I used the new Portrait to make personalized hairbrushes. It was super simple and uses one of the features I like best about the Silhouette; the ability to cut any font I have on my computer — so cool!

Personalized Hair Brush

I purchased hair brushes from the dollar store. Yes, this is a cute but inexpensive little gift. These brushes would make great stocking stuffers, party favors or gifts for little girls to give their friends

Measure the back of the hair brush. Open the Silhouette design studio and chose a font and type a name. Enlarge the text block  to fit the back of the hair brush. Load vinyl into the Silhouette and cut. Peel off letters and place on the back of the brush. A quick, simple and easy handmade gift!
