My friend Lori always brings this delicious fresh fruit dip to our gatherings and we LOVE it!
Just two ingredients and some spices and you will have a yummy fruit dip.
Fruit Dip Recipe
1 – 7 ounce container marshmallow cream
1 – 8 ounce pkg cream cheese
a pinch of ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp of ground cinnamon (I use up to 1/4 tsp)
Blend all ingredients together until fluffy with an electric mixer. Serve with fresh fruit. Apples are really good with this dip.
If I melt down marsh mellows, will that work too?
We make this dip in our family & love it. Ialso like to add a single serving size cup of yogurt . Lemon or lime are nice compliments toa most fruit & give it a little zip. Strawberry is also another favorite, but you could mix it up & use any flavor you like.
I second Paula on the sour cream and brown sugar. That’s how I make my fruit dip with some soft macaroons torn in small pieces mixed in. Delicious!!
Another great fruit dip is sour cream and brown suger, for the lady who doesn’t get marshmallow fuff in your area. 🙂
I love your site, and this recipe looks heavenly! I would love it if you would share it and others on my very first link party at http://mommyssweetconfessions.blogspot.com/2012/08/sundays-sweet-confessions-first-link.html
This is my favorite dip!
Stacy, that is a great idea!
Here’s a twist…..if you add Strawberry cream cheese instead of plain, it makes a yummy Strawberry dip!
MMM! I LOOOOVE this stuff!
I sure wish I got marshmallow cream here. 🙁
Yum! I was planning on making this for my son’s birthday party in a few weeks 🙂
