I just made this bag this very afternoon. It took me a tad bit over an hour, but I am pretty new at sewing. Anyways, i just wanted to thank you for cross posting this tute — I had an awesome time sewing this afternoon AND got a pretty cool new bag I wish I could share the pic with you, I just posted to my facebook and thus far the reactions have been positive. I want to thank you for this amazing tutorial.
So clear & easy to understand, it has taken me from feeling stuck sewing lavender bags to my very own hand bag!!!
I’ll admit it took me a while longer than an hour, but, since i’m planning on making more including one tonight for my daughter’s friends birthday, I anticipate that time improving.
Thank you once again for helping me move on with my new sewing hobby. I cannot tell you truly grateful i actually am.

I am still a rather novice sewer, but this was a great first bag! I made it in less than and hour!! It is a Christmas gift, and I know the recepient will LOVE IT!! Thanks for sharing how to make this cool bag!!
