[...] All we needed was 1 -3 oz box of flavored gelatin and 2 - 1/4 oz packages of unflavored gelatin, water and candy molds. (we used two candy molds) Place 1/3 cup water in a small sauce pan. Sprinkle the Jello and unflavored gelatin over the water. Let sit 5 - 10 minutes.
Stronger flavor: use concentrated juice as opposed to Jello and add an extra envelope or two of gelatin. You can also add a tablespoon or two of honey to sweeten them (since jello mixes have a lot of sugar in them).
Cinnamon bear question : You could melt the little cinnamon red hotts into the gelatin. Then use either a cherry, raspberry, apple or other "red" juice. Doesn't really matter what because, for the most part, the red hots color and flavor will dominate.
Sticking problem: next time, lightly lightly oil the mold. To release already stuck on ones, put the mold lightly on a dish of warm water. NOT HOT. Just lukewarm, that should help the gelatin to melt a little and release from mold. Your shapes will not be as nice but it should get them out.

These are awesome. Made them in deep Christmas molds. The thick ones are much more satisfying than the thinner ones.
They taste like Jell-O, of course, because they are Jell-O.
Don't keep them in the fridge. They get chewy in an undesirable kind of way.
