This was great! It was super easy and super cheap :) I made one for my 5 y.o. niece for Christmas. In the midst of opening up toys on Christmas Eve, she opened up this gift, then proceeded to lay down on the floor and start coloring lol! She made two pictures before my parents told her to open more gifts.
I made it pink and purple and bigger. After finding a 5"x7" drawing pad from Joann's $2.50 bin and "large" Crayolas, I decided to make the holder bigger. The pocket size was 3"x18", marked 2 5/8" from center and then 1.5" apart for the crayons. The lining/outside pieces were 8"x18". Thanks a bunch for this tutorial!!!

Crystal, A half of any sports ball, baseball bat, lego, a tennis shoe and the laces could be the closure. A tire or tire swing. A car.

Love this project! I made one and now am going to make a few more for my nieces and nephews. I'll have to put something different on instead of the flower though for the boys. Any suggestions?
