This Santa Claus cookie jar is my absolute favorite Christmas cookie jar! The red and green m&m s candies make the jar look extra festive and the Santa printable tag gives this m&m jar the perfect finishing touch.
Cookies in a Jar Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup M&Ms
- 1 cup of regular oats
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp.Kosher salt (or 1/4 tsp table salt)
Instructions
Layer in a 1-quart size, wide-mouth canning jar with a lid.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, place in the bottom of the jar
- Oats
- M&M milk chocolate candies
- Brown Sugar (press down firmly)
- Sugar
Screw the lid on tightly, and add an instruction label to the top of the jar.
To make decorative cookie jars, wrap ribbon around the jar front to back vertically. Twist in the back to secure the lid and bring ribbon to the front to tie a big bow. You can find all sorts of wide ribbons in shades of red and greens to compliment the labels at your local craft store.
