My name is Shay Ankerich and I’m the owner of Sew Shay. I am a SAHM with four daughters who keep me happily busy. My husband and I are in the process of adopting our second daughter from China and we have named her ShayleeJoy. Sew Shay is named for her and we are using all the proceeds from the shop to help with our adoption fees and travel expenses.

My shop features cute items that are both fun and functional from bags to skirts to rainbow rolls. Most of my items have been inspired by my daughter EllaKate whom waits patiently for her little sister. Please stop by Sew Shay and take a peek.

I am giving away the GoGo bag and the Rainbow Roll shown below. All you have to do is stop by my shop and let me know what your favorite item is in the comments section of this post.

You have until Sunday night at midnight to leave a comment. A winner will be selected randomly and announced within a day or two and I’ll ship it to you as soon as possible. (US destinations only please)

I LOVE so many things on your site. I would love one of the pillowcase dresses for my own little Shay. She is such a fun, spirited, little spit-fire! Your fabrics make me think of her. I can imagine her twirling around in that dress!!

I love the joyful dress–even if I don’t have a girl! I would love the crayon roll for my 3 year old son. I was touched by your shop–we adopted our son from Vietnam. What a beautiful way to raise money for such an important cause! God bless!

I absolutely love the joyful dresses. All your things are simply adorable. On a side note, I have a little sister adopted from China (I’m 27, she just turned 6), and my parents are trying for another daughter from China. They have been waiting 3 years for this one. Wish you well with your adoption process.

I love the rainbow roll. I have tons of design markers for landscape designs and have always wanted to make something like this to hold them for travel. This would also be great for taking pens and pencils for the little one to church.

Oh, my goodness! It’s all so cute and hard to pick just one favorite! I love the steno cover (how cute would my grocery list and to do list look in there?!) and my 3 year old would look adorable in the joyful dress and since she’s all about writing and drawing right now, she would love, love the rainbow roll. What fun fabrics and things! Congratulations on your adoption. I can tell she is a lucky girl!
