Last year we had a large dinner on New Years Day.  At each place setting I wrapped up a pedometer (you can find them at the dollar store) with a note that said, “May all your steps be happy and healthy!”

You could also put the pedometer in a Pillow Box and attach a note.

Insert calendar into a plastic CD case, wrap beautifully and you have a useful and pretty favor!
