I have been working on fabric covers for steno pads for my children's teachers.
They can be made totally reversible. They have a handy spot on the cover for a pen or pencil and an elastic closure.
I think these would make great little gifts when you just need a little something. They are quick and easy! If you would like a pattern for these I have a PDF you may download for $1.99.
It is an immediate download so you can have your pattern and be sewing right away! Yes, you could figure out how to make these, but if you don't want to waste the time figuring out all of the measurements simply download three pages of detailed instructions. If you are interested visit the shop!
****3/8 yard each of two different fabrics will make four covers
****You can find steno pads at Wal-Mart for just under a $1.00
Thanks for stopping by today!

Woohoo! I’ve tried to work this out on my own and it was a mess and used up too much fabric. So I bought it right away because I simply NEED some fabric notepad covers.
I’m on my way to the shop — I’ve been looking for a good teacher gift!
These would be PERFECT for keeping my kids quiet in church. (We have notebooks already, but they’re always a mess!) Thanks so much for making the download so reasonable . . . I’ll be buying it in a few (after the dinner and bedtime fray is done).
Thanks!!!
I love this! what a great, cute idea. I always have a note pad laying around to write myself notes and such. Now I can decorate it and it will be much more appealing to look at. Hopefully it will inspire creativity!!!
Those are beautiful!!!
love this, my daughter and I are going to make up something like this for some of her friends.
Great idea. Yay! Just downloaded mine. Thanks for offering – you should offer more of your ideas as patterns for sale. You are always so generous with your projects, it is time you made a little cash on them.
Great idea, they are perfect for teachers gifts or any preteen as well!
These are really nice. Thanks so much for the great idea!
These are too cute! I’ve been trying to think of a teacher gift idea!!
what perfect timing! I’m doing an altered book for my cousin (turning it into a cookbook) and couldn’t think of a good way to do a paper cover without messy mod podge… I didn’t even think of fabric! Thanks for the inspiration.
Those are so cute!

Those are absolutely perfect. Love it! I just wish I could sew.

I am really enjoying going through your site. I perform shows for children and recently put some of my cable TV episodes on my new blog. Would love to hear your thoughts on my site. It is very new and I am sure that am I making many beginner mistakes. If you have any time, any comments, any mistakes that I can skip over, please contact me.
I love this and am about to head over and download. Quick question for you… where do you have your fabric labels made? I’ve been looking for a good source after giving up on trying to make them myself.
