I've just made 2 of these for baby Annabell as I am fed up of my daughter using her her own nappies and then throwing them away! I had to alter the pattern slightly, Annabell has a larger bottom than the pattern allowed for. I also cut out a duck and a teddy bear from felt to put on the front of each one. Thanks for the pattern and the idea, they were an instant hit and soooooo easy to make.

Instead of sewing the velcro, I buy stick on velcro dots, very durable, washable and oh so quick and easy.

This is a great idea! We have some like that at home. We actually cloth diaper the real kids, too, and as for a suggestion about the velcro...why not try snaps! You can use one of those hand-held snap presses from the fabric store and add some metal snaps. Or, you can add resin snaps - these kind are on cloth diapers. The resin snaps are much cheaper and super good quality but might be a little hard for little fingers to unsnap. We prefer snaps on our cloth diapers over the velcro. :)

Thank you! I have had this bookmarked for awhile now, since I knew my mother was buying a Bitty Baby for my daughter's birthday. Now she has a couple of diapers that are a lot nicer than the one the doll came with. Thanks again!

I put a copy of the diaper pattern in my craft file so I will always have it.
With 4 granddaughters ages 6 and under, I'm going to make a stack for each of their houses and mine! Thank you for the super-quick pattern.

Thanks! I am going to make some to use for a baby shower game for my oldest daughter's first baby. She is having a girl so I will definitely be using the pattern again when she gets old enough to play with dolls!
It is a great idea!
