What’s for dinner?

Posted by cindylouh on Aug 27 2008 | Uncategorized

Oh I need to get organized and have a plan! In the past I have been really happy and satisfied with SavingDinner.com.  There is no thinking involved!  For a fee you are emailed a set of recipes each week along with a shopping list.   I especially like the freezer meals from Saving Dinner. The ones for the grill are really great. I also like that I can choose a menu by dietary need —heart healthy, low carb .  You can even choose by which hemisphere you live in. She even has holiday menus!  One of the biggest benefits is that her recipes use a wide variety of meats, vegetables and fruits so it keeps us eating a really varied diet and keeps my kids trying new things.  But most important, all week long I can always answer that big question, “What’s for dinner?”  For some reason I have fallen off the wagon—so I am hopping back on.

If you would like to give saving dinner meals a try  then leave a comment by Friday at midnight and one lucky reader will receive a free 5 for the Freezer meal plan from  Saving Dinner!

I am also anxious to try Stacy’s recommendation for You’ve Got Supper! This service is free.

I have my recipes and shopping list printed and I am off to the store!  Have a great day!

  2. I have never heard of this! It sounds like something I could use! I hate planning out “what’s for dinner” every week. I draw a blank and stare at the pantry for awhile! Thanks for the idea!

  8. I also love Menus4Moms. It has a fee part and a free part. The fee gets you the nutrition info and the weightwatchers points. The free section gives you the basic menu and the grocery list. It’s a real time saver for me!

ooo, pick me, pick me! i’ve been known to go to one of those ‘make-your-meals-ahead-and store-them-in-the-freezer’ stores but they were so expensive & the food really wasn’t all that great. i just really need help adding new things to my list of meals and to have someone SEND me my meal plan & shopping list…ah what else could my lazy self want? ;)

  21. I am one of the founders of YGS - You’ve Got Supper. We appreciate the mention, and I wanted to provide a little context for the readers. We started like all other menu planning sites on the web, as a fee-based subscription model. We decided this was not in our members’ best interest, so we converted to a free model four months ago.

We have grown 1,900%. We would like to keep it up, so give us a try. I think you will like our service and we continue to work hard to be the best menu planning website (free or fee-based). Thanks.
