One of my friend's moms did this for us when we were kids, but instead of smiley faces, she would write our initials. One of my favorite tips for this, though, is to either use a cleaned out ketchup bottle, or to purchase a condiment squeeze bottle at the store. It makes much neater smileys and letters, and there's less mess! I love this idea!
