We used a tiny closepin with a heart glued on it for the bottom and they are so cute. It adds just enough weight to make them fly really well. I ran out of colored paper to send through the printer, so some of these we hand colored on white with a rainbow effect, they were adorable, I can see you could further embellish with glitter, etc., if so inclined.
